Rolex Monte-Carlo Masters Monte Carlo, Monaco April 09 – 16 2023
It will be the 116th edition of the annual Monte Carlo Masters tournament, sponsored by Rolex for the 14th time. It will be held at the Monte Carlo Country Club in Roquebrune-Cap-Martin, France (though billed as Monte Carlo, Monaco). The event is an ATP Masters 1000 tournament on the 2023 ATP Tour.
The Monte-Carlo Masters is an annual men’s clay court tennis tournament that takes place in April at the majestic Monte-Carlo Country Club, located just a couple of hundred metres outside Monaco.
First played way back in 1897, the Monte-Carlo Masters has consistently held enormous pedigree, becoming a part of the Grand Prix Tour, before becoming an ATP event. The tournament still exhibits its prestige today: it is an ATP Masters 1000 event and always brings together the best male players from around the world, despite not having an ATP mandatory player commitment. With some courts featuring spectacular views of the Mediterranean Sea, and others showcasing the decadent backdrop of Monte-Carlo on the cliffs above, this tournament is also as famous for its unique locale as it is for its world-class tennis!
