  1. July 2022: Successful flight tests conducted, confirming the airport’s readiness.
  2. September 2023: Saudia inaugurated the first commercial route from Riyadh, marking the airport’s operational debut.
  3. April 2024: Flydubai operated the first international route from Dubai, expanding global connectivity.
